I do not know if my BitDefender Antivirus 2008 is the cause of this but I have many files accumulating in the Windows Temp folder.
They begin with httproxy_clt followed by a long series of numbers. I have to delete them every several days in order to keep their numbers down. Has anyone else experienced this? I am using Windows XP SP2. |

Dear Warren
Yes these files are BitDefender related and are created during http traffic scanning. To solve that problem you have to remove them manually or disable http traffic scanning. I also asked that Softwin will make an option to delete the oldest entries. They said that they will consider it. Best regards Niels |

Dear Warren
Glad that I could help you. You could also use some sort of cleaning software but I suppose that you that already knew. Have also a nice day and week-end. Best regards Niels |

Deleted over 8000 of them last night. I am running BitDefender Antivirus 2008 on Windows XP Pro (SP2). Mike |
