System Information:
I have BitDefender Internet Security 2008 installed on my computer running Windows XP (it worked great for about 4 months).

Problem:
For the last 3 weeks, every time I would be using my computer for an hour or so.. I would get red X's in the "File Zone" and "Net Zone" boxes and the "PC Security", "Internet Security" and "Identity Control" tabs in the BitDefender Security Center would all have a "Critical Warnings".

I clicked the "Fix All Issues" button but nothing happens. I have to constantly restart to get BitDefender Internet Security 2008 working properly again.

Can anyone help me out? Any advice?

Dear shebal

Sometimes when there are product upgrades or updates available BitDefender needs some time to update the program files. Normally after a few seconds everything should be working again. If that isn't the case please do this go to start, run, type services.msc press enter each service that has BitDefender in the name should be started if not left click on each service and click on the left side on start. If that fails then there could be a product upgrade where are reboot (restart) is necessary.

Best regards
Niels

I have the same problem... "FIX ALL ISSUES" button does nothing when pressed.
I've attempted to perform manual start as quoted above.

"BITDEFENDER VIRUS SHIELD" (1 of 4 BitDefender services in the list) is always "not started."
I can start the service and then the Anti-Virus works for about 2 minutes. Within 2 minutes it is turned off again and I must restart it once again. What can I do to keep this turned on? It is set to automatically turn on, but somehow is never on and gets turned off for whatever reason.

Anti-Virus also displays "Critical Warning" when turned off.
