I have installed endpoint on some networks, and it works great if you use the install file over network, but I have thought to give the remote install a go. but I do struggle with some secret thing... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Background: Win SBS 2008 - With Active Directory 15 x Win 7 Pro PC's 2 x Old Win XP Client Security and File security where installed, I have uninstalled both but on the client side I initiated a uninstall of clients before final removal. All clients side installations where uninstalled. Cloud Client was created and both 64 and 32 bit install where downloaded, first install was on server self. I waited for the network discovery to find all the other PC's Up until here everything went as planned. Try 1 Created install task for some of the unmanaged computers. With admin user and password for the domain with full access. Herewith some log entries for task credcontrol-2 10.0.0.61 Deployment has failed with error code: 2202: The specified username is invalid. credcontrol-4 10.0.0.53 Deployment has failed with error code: 2202: The specified username is invalid. credcontrol-5 10.0.0.58 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully. credcontrol-6 10.0.0.64 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully. credcontrol-7 10.0.0.81 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully. credcontrol-8 10.0.0.68 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully. I have played with username a bit, but still not sure what is the problem. Sales-2 was discovered that the domain was invalid, this is an old pc, so I understand the Access is Denied But again Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully. This Successful error is starting to annoy me now. Any suggestions and ideas from someone, meanwhile I will still play along. Please note the manual install works fine and easy, but Remote install is the test here. Regards |

Try 3.6
I have tried installing 10 + in one go so I narrowed it down. Try 4.2 Single pc with username@domain.local sales-1 10.0.0.52 No Status Try 4.3 2 Pc's with username@domain.local datacapture-3 10.0.0.67 Deployment has failed with error code: 53: The network path was not found. sales-1 10.0.0.52 Deployment has finished successfully Try 4.3 3 Pc's with username@domain.local datacapture-3 10.0.0.67 successful member-admin 10.0.0.69 successful orders 10.0.0.54 successful Summary so far. When I select to many, it doesn't install, with less than 3 it works. Sometimes you must just try again and again, like datacapture-3 I would recommend that you uninstall all AV related software manually and the reboot 1 or 2 times. Then try the remote install. There is still a few PC's that is unmanaged, I will clean them and reboot them before I try the install, just to check if there is a problem with multiply installs |

All went well, what I did this round I have selected all the PC's with the same setup and same password. |

Thank you for all your posts. As you know the Bitdefender Cloud is a new solution from us, tested and completly functional. We have discovered and also clients have reported us bugs like you encountered "Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully". We are trying to fix and release product upgrades for this security solution so that the customers will not encounter such messages in the near future. Now can you please if you are having issues or questions regarding Bitdefender Cloud Console or Bitdefender Endpoint? Regards, Andi |
