I've notice a new optimization pack dated 24th Feb 2012. Any information regarding this update?

Hi Mhyderio,

You are correct. A new optimization pack for the Bitdefender Client Security 3.5 is available for the customer to download, install and upgrade.

Note :Schedule the Bitdefender Security for Windows Servers carefully, as this product update will restart your server after the upgrade is finished.

Thank you for the information above. I am unable to determine if the management console has the optimization pack 1 already installed. Where can i find this information.

Hello again,

You can verify the version for the bdemsrv file from the default location:
C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Management Server\ right click on the file - proprieties - details - file version.
If you have 3.5.242 version Optimization Pack 1 is already installed, below this version is required to run the first patch.

For Optimization Pack 2 will upgrade the software to 3.5.2.273 version.
Also the version and build number for the Bitdefender Management Server can be found in the Bitdefender Console - About Tab .
