I am attempting to install eRightSoft's Super Media Converter from the offical site (download link). The installer is scanned as clean by BitDefender, but when I try to run it, BitDefender reports that the file flvdec.spk conains Gen:Trojan.Heur.S.bi4@aOJrMvo.

Is this genuine malware or a false positive?

Dave

I've got the same problem. Downloaded the new version and my virus detector claims the same as YetAnotherDave.

Christian, if you can't download the file straight from the link Dave provided, you can use this link: http://www.erightsoft.com/S6Kg1.html
At the bottom of the page there is a link that reads " Download SUPER © setup file "
Click on that and you should be able to download it.
For some reason it's really hard to navigate on that site to find the actual downloading link.

This program is absolutely amazing but it's a shame that the new version has this problem.

Hello (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I managed to find(after several minutes in a loop) the file:

http://www.erightsoft.biz/GetFile.php?SUPERsetup.exe

I will send it to our labs for analysis.

Thank you for reporting this.
