BitDefenderVulnerabilityScan.png ( 24.94K )
Number of downloads: 27I did a vulnerability scan on BitDefender and it appears that it is not up-to-date. Please see the picture referenced. Also, I have another application installed that I am surprised BitDefender doesn't check--Google Chrome. |

You're not alone on that one, it's been off for me for the last 2 months. I've just never said anything as with all they've been trying to resolve with this 2012 version, I figured that I'd let it go for awhile. So should I also mention that the B.D. main UI shows may last scan one day later than the scan itself? (last scan 3 days ago, when i scanned 2 days ago, and my Windows clock and date are correct) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I have escalated this to our developers. Those versions will be up to date soon. Thank you. |

Yes, I can also confirm this. I've noticed that my versions are slightly newer then the recomended one. It's not a big deal for me, but for someone who counts on this module to close security wholes.... this is not good. Hope you would update your databases of applications more often.

Boris, nice avatar (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I agree, they will need to predictably keep up with the newest releases.

Boris, nice avatar (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I agree, they will need to predictably keep up with the newest releases. And with Mozilla's new "Rapid Release" tactics, they need something like Norton's pulse updates (not a commercial) to keep vulnerability protection up-to-date (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |

lol, you aren't kidding. I read on another web site Mozilla is in panic mode over the fact that they've lost ground to Chrome, so you're right, their in panic mode in trying to keep up..pulse updates.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Thunderbird isn't far behind as far as their update frenzy.

Hello (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Mozilla and Google will start to release a version per day in the near future. Now is 10 and 17, in about 2 weeks will be with 3 numbers (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) We will try to update that file weekly so we can keep track of all new versions. Thank you. |

Thanks Christian, as my Adobe Reader and Firefox are showing the correct versions, and as being up to date. Even the 2013 beta is showing the correct versions.
Good job, and thank you Bitdefender techs. and support. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Hello (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
That list will be updated weekly from now and in the future all the products should be up-to-date. Thank you very much for your feedback! Have a great weekend! |
