Hello Everybody
i'm trying to update bitdefender cd using a mobile broadband Huawei e1750 hspa usb stick (provider 3 Italy). I've configured in network connections the mobile broadband profile,although the device is not recognized and does not appear on the available connections. lsusb command lists the 3g device. Please help. Thamk You. |

The Rescue CD can only be updated using direct network connections. In your case, could you install Bitdefender 2012 and scan the PC using Rescue Mode? Thank You for Your prompt response
the problem beeing an unbootable pc under windows does not allow the procedure suggested. Would not be an easy fix to include the usb mode switch package since is supported by most linux distros with the xubuntu/Bit defender cd . Thanks again |
