Hello,
I installed the .deb package on Natty Ubuntu (11.04), and everything seemed to install correctly. After updating via the GUI and then running a scan, however, it seemed to skip a large number of root protected packages, and displayed a lot of I/O errors. I assume this is because the program does not have root access. How do I fix this? Thanks for any help! |

Hi Idra,
From command line please enter root . go to /opt/BitDefender-scanner/bin and run ./bdgui - This is how you start the GUI with root privilege . Hope it helps. Andrei.
