Admittedly i am new to BitDefender antivirus programs and this forum however, based on the few issues that I have tried to research on the forum I am disappointed. Disappointed in that rarely do you ever see a solution offered to a problem raised. You see lots of "views" and the odd possible temporary fix offer (most of which must not work because the same problems seem to keep reappearing).
I gather BitDefender Support must ignore the site in the main because I have rarely seen any input from that direction.
To be fair I must admit that I have not experienced too many problems with my first experience with BitDefender (Antivirus 2009 on Windows XP sp3 32 bit); just enough to cause annoyance.
Maybe my comments about the Forum are unjustified based on a 1 month observation but one can't help comparing it to other such forums where answers to problems seem more prolific and more effective.

I agree and I've had it... I'm trying to get a refund... this product is sloppy, , tech responses on forums and cust service is nonexistent, the appl itself terminates unexpectedly at times and sometimes doesn't even initialize. Worse yet, it doesn't even tell me its not active leaving me exposed (keep-alive monitoring should be implemented), there's no way to schedule scans if the your machine is in sleep/suspend/hybernate mode... many reviews state it lite on computer resources, Bah! Not to mention all the other complaints I've been reading on these forums...
I'm out of here ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angry.gif)
