Bitdefender V10 Stops My Last.fm? Options

I recently signed up at Lastfm.com, and downloaded the plugin for it to work with my Windows Media Player and iTunes. However, when I try to use the setup wizard to make it work, when it asks me to log in, I put in my username and password, press enter, and it freezes. I checked the LFM forum, and there are some others who have had this same problem, many of whom use BitDefender, and I believe that this may be the problem with mine. I use BitDefender Antivirus Plus v10, and some of the people who fixed the problem on the forums claimed "Gamer Mode" to be the problem, and Identity Control was mentioned too. However, I can't find these on my version of BD. Unchecking "Scan HTTP Traffic" in Antivirus settings worked for some people too, but it didn't for me. Has anyone seen this problem before and have any idea how to fix it?
