I have a Verizon/MSN account, which has performed flawlessly since installation over 2 years ago. A couple of weeks ago, I replaced my Zone Alarm Anitvirus program with BitDefender Antivirus 2009, as it was highly rated by several tester sites. Since installing it (after a total uninstallation of Zone Alarm), I can access the home page for Verizon/MSN, but when I click on the "Mail and more" icon, the screen goes blank and the program locks up. I then have to give the 3-fingered salute (Ctrl/Alt/Del) to close the program. After doing that, I can no longer open MSN, and have to cold reboot the computer to open it again.
I have tried to use the BitDefender online support site, and have emailed technical support 3 different times, using the support site format, and have received NO response whatsoever, in spite of the "24 hour response" slogan on the site. On the support site, I saw instructions to download and run sysdump.exe, and BitDefender FileInfo, and take a screenshot of the issue, which I did. However, on the support website, there are NO provisions to attach these pieces of information, so I could not send them. Also, having no email address, nor response from Technical Support, I cannot send the information the support website says that it needs to resolve the issues.
I'd like to be able to access my MSN email account again. Thanks for your anticipated help.
