I got the same problem, but no help from bit defender support team. I don't think they look at the bug or have any solution. I solve the problem myself by changing the Regional and Language Options in Windows XP, but I can't read any non-Unicode programs anymore. I changed it to English(United States) then everything back to work, nothing wrong again. but I need to use Japanese or Chinese. Some of my programs aren't using Uni-code, so I can't read it. |

That means bit defender 2009 (and bit defender 2008 new updated version) not support Unicode. And bit defender seems not to solve this problem and give up unicode markets. |

Hi, all!
I have the same problem, but it appears only when I run certain programm (banking system). It's a big problem. Now I solve it with re-installing BitDefender 2008... |

I like (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) Bitdefender and I have been using the previous version 2008 until it expired then I changed to this new 2009. I (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) face the same vsserv runtime error because the Regional and Language Options non-Unicode programs in Windows XP is set as Chinese (PRC).
I faced the same problem in IS 2008. Many people suffered this pain for months before the solution available. I thought this 2009 will be better than 2008, but it seems worse. I (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angry.gif) have doubts whether the programmers/designers have their lesson learn. If you are still in free trial period, I would suggest you to ask for refund until most of the problems have been solved (this is just one of the problems found in the forum) |

I have the same problem with EN language. I have been waiting a week for a resolution.
I uninstalled BD2009 and reinstalled 2008 until they can provide a stable application. |

My users are very fed up with BD2008 Biz Client now, and I am very close to uninstalling it from every single PC and server and forgetting about BD altogether. Am thinking to go with some other solution soon.
