At the moment the Client Security suite is not compatible with Windows 8, but until the end of the week it should be fully compatible.

There is a new patch for windows 8 clients called BDMS_Windows_8_Pack.exe no documentation for it yet.

So after an uninstall of the Business Client for Windows 8 I can no longer re-install the client... It doesn't do anything at all. It shows me the little window that says it's running an administrative task but as soon as I click Ok it immediately tells me it's done but nothing is installed.

Please let us know how did you try to install the product on that specific station(e.g. Deployment Tool, Automatic Deployment, Unattended package etc)

Also please try to install the program using the Deployment Tool from the Bitdefender Management Console -> Tools -> Deployment Tool as instructed in the second part of the article below:

Please let us know if you still encounter issues after trying to deploy the product using the Deployment Tool.

I had tried to install it through the Deployment Tool through the Management Console to no avail. Then I went and created an Unattended Package and that was also a flop. So after a fresh install of Windows 8 BitDefender installed with no issues at all and is running as it should again.

However, I have noticed that the AntiSpam Toolbar does not work with Office 2013 64-bit. I can see the Add-in when I look at the options menu but when I attempt to enable it it refuses to run... I know that this Windows 8 release of the client is probably full of bugs so I await the update that fixes this module.
