I Have Problem With My Bitdefender 2008

i have problem 2 problem...

first im using bitdefender internet security 2008 3 users..... after i install at my bitdefender all user using ubs can access my server system.... any solution???

second after i install bitdefender i update and restart the update have disabled..... i already uninstall the bitdefender several times still same problem.... i already using bitdefender removal tools... also have a same problem... any ideaz???????? please help me.....

Cannot See Network Printer

Hi, I have been running a network Printer (HP Laser Jet 3055) on my home network (BT Homehub 2.0) for some months. I am running Windows Vista with SP1 instsalled.

However, I have just changed my Antivirus softwere to BitDefender Internet 2009 and now I cannot see the printer on the network so I cannot connect wirelessly. Also the BT Hub does not appear on the list of Network Devices.

I have looked in the BitDefender Knowledge Base but I cannot find anyone experiencing the same problem.

Can anyone help me please.

Antivirus 2009 Causes Hang On Restart

Hi,

I just installed the evaluation version of anitivirus 2009, it requested a restart to finish instalation and now my PC hangs on the Windows XP Logo screen, the blue bar infinately scrolling by. I take it that it placed something in the boot sequence that my computer isnt liking?

I can start in safe mode. Can anyone suggest how to get around this?

Bd Total Security 2009

Hello.

I recently installed Bit Defender on my virtual machine (to have a look at it before uninstalling my previous Internet Security suite) and everything worked out fine, everything ran correctly and there was a taskbar icon.

I uninstalled Norton 360 v2.0 on my real machine then installed Bit Defender Total Security 2009. After restarting it guided my through the configuration wizard then I noticed there was no Bit Defender icon in the taskbar. I browsed the forums here but they were more guided for other Bit Defender products such as different processes.

To get into the Bit Defender control panel (not sure what it's called but where you configure everything) I have to start the shortcut to seccenter.exe. Although I can now configure Bit Defender I would prefer to have the icon in my taskbar.

I tried resetting my taskbar settings, starting and stopping services, made sure no icons where being hidden and have even re-installed Bit Defender Total Security through the uninstaller and removal tool. No luck.

Any help would be great.

Bd Internet Security V10 Deep Scan Problem

Hi all,
I started a deep system scan this morning.
the scan stalled at 71% complete.Not only did
the scan stall,so did my machine.

In fact,I had to use the reset button to get it going again,
as the mouse did not repond,and ctrl+delete to bring up the task
manger did not work either.

The program hung while scanning C:\program files\common files\common.
I have never had any problem until today.I hope this was just a one time glitch.

Are any other Bit Defender internet security v10 users experiencing the same?

Control Automatic Scanning

BitDefender Internet Security 2009 v. 12.0.11.4 continuously starts scanning and causes a message box to appear that states that "The scanning process was not started in the required time interval. Press OK to close the BitDefender Antivirus Scanner". If I leave the computer on for a few hours there will be about 15 of these message boxes open. How do I get this to stop?

Important For The Admin

We as a Bit defender customers could not under stand for what is this forum, if we as customers could not get any answer from the company which supervising this forum.
I thing there must be a solution on the net that we could contact it to fellow the manipulation which has been mad by the company or the person who issued Bit defender.

We must have solutions for what we are facing from Bit defender, at least an answer from the admin of this forum, since this forum is the official forum of Bit defender.

How To Allow Downloads Of Executable Files?

I am using BD Internet 2009 (running XP Pro service pack 3). Since installing it, I have been unable to download any files with the suffix .exe

I realize that this is generally a good thing (for example, as it prevents executable virus files from being installed). However, I am being blocked from downloading software that I want to install. How/where do I tell BD to let me download an .exe file?

This forum is a great community service. I spent a few hours browsing it and learned a lot, but I didn't find an answer to my problem. Thanks in advance.

Update Issues

I have Bitdefender 2009 on 3 desktops in my home. They were purchased as a package. On one of the PC's I get the critical warning that my virus protection is outdated. When I click fix this issue nothing happens. On the other 2 it appears to work when you re-open the program but it sure would be nice to have an on-screen confirmation that the update is complete.. Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix? I was also wondering if there is a setting for automatic updates. I can't find one. If there isn't that's a little disappointing for paid protection. That's usually the case with freeware. Thanks.
